Good deal for what you get. Great practice facility to warm up before your round including sperate putting, chipping, and pitching green with a sandtrap. I was a little worried when I showed up because the practice green had JUST been aerated but the greens on the course were in good shape. The fairways were a little rough but the layout is fantastic. Must check out this course if you are looking for something new.

Avery Ranch is an upscale course open to the public. It is like having your own "Private Club", but it is public. Beautiful clubhouse, great layout, not overly difficult, but you have a few holes that can get you into the high numbers. A lot of risk/reward holes and good use of water hazards throughout the course. The greens putt true. If you are in Austin, TX it is a must play.

Avery Ranch should improve the amenities in the carts: like water, towels. They should provide balls on range layed out rather than by the skimpy 25 ball bucket. They are a much better course than than their skimpy provisions allude. They should act more like a high scale course, the course itself justifies a more upscale style.
